THE FPA REITERATES: We do NOT object to a security check, we DO object to the inexplicably hostile manner in which it is often conducted.

COMPLAINTS - Members who are in any way harassed or impeded by any of the authorities in Israel, the West Bank or Gaza in the course of carrying out their news assignments please note :

In order to facilitate the process of dealing with incidents members should  write out a comprehensive report of the incident with as many details as possible including the date, time and place of the incident. This report should be emailed to the FPA as soon as possible.

The FPA recommends in the event that accredited journalists are faced with demands for a strip search, having passed all of the other security checks - - accreditation and identity documents, gates, wands, wipes --  they should politely refuse and leave the venue.
